There are many ways for members of our school community to get involved and make a difference. One of the most impactful ways is by joining the School Council. As a member of the council, you’ll have the opportunity to provide valuable advice and assistance to school principals and Trustees on educational matters. Involvement includes:
- Fostering effective communication between parents and teachers
- Strengthening school/community relations
- Collaborating with the school to improve programs and facilities
- Offering leadership and guidance to the school
- Providing input on issues of mutual concern
In addition to the School Council, there are many other opportunities for parents to volunteer within our school. Whether you’re interested in assisting with classroom activities, helping with school events, or supporting extracurricular programs, your time and involvement are always appreciated.

For those volunteering with children directly, a criminal record check is required. Please use the letter provided below when visiting an RCMP or local police station to complete the record check process.
