Hockey & Sports Leadership Program
Lilian Schick Hockey and Sports Leadership Program is designed to promote long term leadership in athletics with a focus on hockey. As a 7 Habits School, Lilian Schick focuses on developing leadership skills in all situations, including athletics.
The goal of the Hockey and Sports Leadership Program is to:
- Develop balanced athletes with an emphasis on overall fitness and health.
- Increase athletic self awareness through the promotion of good sportsmanship in a safe and controlled environment
- Develop and improve on and off ice hockey skills.
- Promote the passion for the game of hockey.
The Hockey and Sports Leadership Program encourages student athletes to follow Lilian Schick's School Vision for all students to learn with passion and lead with confidence.
Lilian Schick School Hockey and Sports Leadership Program is a proud 2016 recipient of an RBC Learn to Play grant! The RBC Learn to Play Project provides grants to local organizations and community groups that are building the physical literacy of Canada’s kids and youth. RBC Learn to Play Project grants are funded by RBC and the Public Health Agency of Canada and
delivered by ParticipACTION with support from Canadian Sport for Life.
